Abundance and Unity Consciousness

You may have heard me talk about themes or messages from the universe. Well,  this week's message has been the idea of becoming rather than calling in the outcome of your desire. It's a subtle shift but I'm finding that it's  relevant and profound on many levels. Becoming is an inside job, calling in assumes a degree of separation. Which brings me to another theme over the last month or two; the idea of separation versus union or unity consciousness.  So how does this convoluted concept relate to the idea of, say, abundance?

First lets define abundance:

To have an abundance of something is to have more than you need. It's often used to describe positive qualities, such as "an abundance of love." Abundance is the opposite of scarcity. An abundance of wealth is a ton of cash.

Well, by that definition we should all be walking around full of abundance, knowing that we, generally in this society, have more than we need and often an excessive amount of good things in our life, right?? So why is the feeling of abundance so challenging for most people to tap into?

When we think of abundance, we often think of money or love or some other energy that we feel we are lacking. What! When we think of abundance we think of what we are lacking? Isn’t that the exact opposite of what we are supposed to do” ? Aren’t we supposed to feel abundant to call in or create abundance? The problem is when we focus on calling in, we are still in the energy of lack and separation. It is actually one step removed from where you want to be.

Unity Consciousness

Wait, what is unity consciousness again? As I mentioned, this theme has been hanging around for about a month now, the idea of being in union with your desire rather than calling it in from somewhere else. Become that which is abundant rather than feeling or calling it in from outside of you. Unity consciousness talks about being in the flow or tapping into the super conscious mind.

How Do I Get There?

My path to unity consciousness was direct through hypnosis and hypnotherapy. I believe that as we clear out limiting beliefs and reprogram past traumas, as your subconscious mind clears of negative programs, we are able to tap into unity consciousness as a natural byproduct of calming your mind and becoming more of who you really are.
