Hypnotherapy for Moms: Release Trauma & Stress

As a single mom, balancing the demands of work, parenting, and personal life can often feel overwhelming, like you’re spiraling out of control. I remember the sleepless nights and the constant worry about how to keep everything together. The stress was relentless until I discovered hypnosis, a tool that transformed my life. In this comprehensive guide, I'll share with you how hypnosis helped me find peace and regain control over my life.

What is Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility. Contrary to popular belief, it isn't about losing control or being unaware of your surroundings. Instead, it's a state where your mind becomes more focused on your internal world and open to positive suggestions.

When I first learned about hypnosis, I was skeptical but curious. The myths and misconceptions made it seem like a mystical practice rather than a scientifically backed technique. However, I soon discovered its incredible potential for stress relief among many others.

How Hypnosis Works for Stress Relief

The scientific basis of hypnosis lies in the subconscious mind and its ability to calm the nervous system and alter brain wave patterns. This process helps reduce cortisol levels, the hormone associated with stress, and promotes relaxation. Hypnosis can also change the way you perceive and react to stressors, making you more resilient.

For me, the benefits were immediate. After a few sessions, I felt a significant reduction in my stress levels. My mind became clearer, and I could handle daily challenges with more ease because I have learned to relax my nervous system in the moment, essentially having greater control over my stress response.

Techniques and Practices

There are many techniques hypnotherapists and hypnotists use to access your subconscious mind, in my practice, I use progressive relaxation. The trance state is known to deepen over time, allowing access to your subconscious and enhancing suggestibility and focus in the client. Because the language of your subconscious mind is images and emotions; guided imagery, visualization, and selective emotional response can be very helpful in programming your subconscious mind.

  • Progressive Relaxation: This technique focuses on relaxing each muscle group progressively, leading to a state of deep relaxation.

  • Guided Imagery and Visualization: This involves imagining peaceful and serene environments, which helps to calm the mind and body.

  • Selective Emotional Response: This involves listening to positive affirmations or suggestions or simply calling up a positive memory in order to evoke the desired emotional state.

*It is important to note that hypnotic relaxation and learning to control your stress response is just half the battle. That is why I developed the Regressive Release Method. To learn more about this process please click here.

The Regressive Release Method

In short, the Regressive Release Method is a regression therapy technique to get to the root cause of your limiting beliefs and allows you to release those deep-seated emotional blockages quickly.

As powerful and transformational as the Regressive Release Method is, it’s done in just 3 - 4 sessions. The best part is, it’s a process that you can learn and use on and with your children. The Regressive Release Method

While relaxation is a powerful tool, healing requires deeper work. That’s why I developed the Regressive Release Method (RRM). This regression therapy technique gets to the root cause of limiting beliefs, releasing deep-seated emotional blockages in just 3–4 sessions.

One of the most powerful aspects of RRM is that you can learn to use it on yourself and teach it to your children. Imagine giving your kids the gift of releasing their own self-limiting beliefs from a young age. It’s a generational shift in healing!
